A summary of Cahill’s projects in preconstruction as well as general information

*** COMPASS for Prequalification ***

Subcontractors bidding to Cahill shall be prequalified thru Compass (https://compass-app.com) prior to any contract award greater than $250,000 and shall keep their prequalification up to date for the duration of the Contract.  Subcontractors are advised that prequalification information, past performance, current backlog levels and SBE / LBE participation will be a factored into the bid selection process.

Please note that Compass charges a fee for their services. The fees will be waived for certified Small Business Enterprises (SBEs), whose annual revenue is less than $10M and any certified DBE/DVBE. If not a certified SBE/DBE, please contact estimating@cahill-sf.com if you have any questions or concerns about this transition. If you have not already done so, please register via the following link: https://compass-app.com.

 

Small Business Enterprise Participation Goals

Just a reminder that city, state and federally funded projects require Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Local Business Enterprise (LBE) participation. Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Disabled Veterans-Owned, and LGBTQ+ Owned companies are also encouraged. Each city/county has their own specific participation goals and processes. Project-specific goals are outlined in Bid Exhibit C, provided when a project goes out to bid. Cahill promotes and encourages non-SBE and non-LBE firms teaming up with SBE and LBE firms for smaller scopes of work, supplies/equipment, trucking, etc.
