New construction of a 112-unit, Type I concrete, eight-story, 88,000-s.f. affordable housing development located in San Francisco’s Civic Center District. The site consolidates three separate parcels at 240 Van Ness Avenue, 155 Grove Street, and 165 Grove Street for a total area of approximately 13,790-s.f. Three existing buildings will be demolished to accommodate the new construction. The project includes ground floor retail, common open space and shared amenities including a garden courtyard, café, and bicycle parking.

Status:  Submitted for site permit with 50% CD drawings expected late November 2021. Demolition and abatement trades have bid out with work starting in December 2021.  Currently out to bid for piles scope with pricing due early December. Remaining trades are slated to bid in Q2 2022 with vertical construction expected to begin Q4 2022.
