New construction of a 112-unit, Type I, concrete, eight-story, 88,000-s.f. affordable housing development located in San Francisco’s Civic Center District. The site consolidates three separate parcels at 240 Van Ness Avenue, 155 Grove Street, and 165 Grove Street for a total area of approximately 13,790-s.f. Two existing decommissioned structures will be demolished to accommodate the new construction. The project includes ground floor retail, common open space and shared amenities including a garden courtyard, café, and bicycle parking.

Status:  Submitted for site permit with schematic design completed.  Demolition and abatement subcontractor bids are due June 8, 2021 with work starting in September 2021.  Remaining trades are slated to bid in Q1/Q2 2022 with vertical construction expected to begin July 2022.
