New construction of a 112-unit, Type I, concrete, eight-story, 88,000-s.f. affordable housing development located in San Francisco’s Civic Center District. The site consolidates three separate parcels at 240 Van Ness Avenue, 155 Grove Street, and 165 Grove Street for a total area of approximately 13,790-s.f. Two existing decommissioned structures will be demolished to accommodate the new construction. The project includes ground floor retail, common open space and shared amenities including a garden courtyard, café, and bicycle parking.

Status:  Submitted for site permit with schematic design completed.  Demolition and abatement trades have bid out with work starting in October 2021.  Remaining trades are slated to bid in Q1/Q2 2022 with vertical construction expected to begin July 2022.
