This is a joint venture project with Guzman Construction. Located in the Sunnydale HOPE SF Special Use District, Block 9 will be new construction of a building, five stories of Type VA over Type 1A garage. The 153,162 gsf building will contain 95 dwelling units (1 through 4-bedroom units) for low-income families along with residential common spaces including a double height Lobby, Management and Resident Services Office, Shared Laundry Room, Resident Community Lounge, two Courtyards, and Secure Bicycle (100 spaces) and Vehicular Parking (71 spaces).  Project will commit to being GreenPoint Rated and will be all electric.

Status: Subcontractors were selected during an early bid for Fire Sprinkler, Elevator, Tower Crane and Photovoltaics scopes. Shoring bid is pending due to proposed existing site condition changes. Bid for Selective Trades (Concrete, Rough Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical) is scheduled for October 2024, with the remaining trades projected to bid December 2024 or January 2025.
